Who Is Eligible to Take This Course?
This ICF Preparation and Practicum course is offered for
Graduates of the Solros Positive Peer Coach Training Program

You do not need to be working at a Solros Member School or a currently Certified Positive Peer Coach to participate in this course. You can fulfill most of the recertification requirements as part of the ICF Practicum Course; the only other requirement is to host a group coaching session or workshop.
How Will You Learn in This Program?
This is a practicum course which will help you keep growing as a coaching professional through continued coaching practice and ongoing feedback from your coaching conversation partners, peers in your cohort, and ICF-certified Mentor Coaches.

We do not introduce additional content or independent learning modules as you have already covered the essentials in our Positive Peer Coach Training Program. The focus of this program is on building your skills, confidence, and impact as a coach through working with clients across several coaching sessions and participating in Group Mentoring.

We continue working with the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics as our standards, and we use the ICF ACC Minimum Skills Requirements as our benchmarks for this program.
We will be learning-by-doing through a combination of...

-
Regular reflection, self-assessment, and Client/Peer/Mentor Coach feedback, using the ICF Core Competencies as the standard.
-
Eight 3-hour Zoom Group Mentoring sessions held on Saturdays from 10:30am-1:30pm Amsterdam time (CET/CEST)

-
Coaching two colleagues at your school - each for a minimum of four 30-minute coaching conversations, followed by a guided reflection process.

-
A 1-hour Mentoring Call where you receive individual coaching and feedback on one of your recorded sessions from your Mentor Coach*

-
An ICF ACC Performance Evaluation of one of your recorded sessions. As an ICF-accredited coach training provider, our verification of your passing score will be accepted by ICF as evidence of your coaching competencies meeting the Minimal Skills Requirements for ACC certification.*

*Participants may purchase additional Mentoring Calls if they would like more support before submitting their recording for the Performance Evaluation and/or if they do not pass the initial Performance Evaluation. Additional fees apply for additional Performance Evaluations.
What are the Dates for the Next Cohort?
This course includes 8 mandatory Group Practice sessions.*

We offer this program once per school year, meeting on alternating Saturdays from February-May.

*Unlike with the trio/partner practice sessions in the Positive Peer Coach Training Program, the Group Mentoring hours are not something you can make up independently (i.e. without an ICF Mentor Coach involved). We do 10 hours of group mentoring across our 8 live Group Practice sessions. Sometimes we do one hour of Group Mentoring during a live session, and sometimes we do two hours of Group Mentoring during our live session.
If you do not participate in 7 hours of group mentoring, you will need to arrange and pay for individual mentor coaching sessions to complete the required 10 hours of mentor coaching to satisfy the International Coaching Federation requirements.

"The course well exceeded my expectations! Before starting the Practicum, I was hoping to deepen my knowledge about and around coaching while gaining extra practice. The learning I have done in the Practicum was invaluable.

What I cherish most is our close-knit cohort which turned into such a wonderful small circle of coaching friends. I learned so much from everyone's approach, and the discussions about the selected book were so enriching.

It was my first time working with clients long-term, and I found the structure of the packages very helpful. It's a very different exercise to be able to pull from previous sessions, as part of one coaching arch so to speak, rather than isolated laser-coaching sessions.

I felt safe, seen and motivated throughout this journey. Kristin creates such a positive atmosphere, and trust was very easy to develop. I always appreciate feedback and reflection. Taking the time to do so and having a place to ask questions and voice potential insecurities is wonderful. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience.
I would 100% recommend this program to anyone who is considering joining. I would of course make them aware of the time commitment and energy coaching takes, but if they can make the room and dedication for it, I'd tell them not to hesitate and dive in!”
